Barbados Weather in June

The Barbados weather in June is pleasant with warm days and comfortable nights.

The month of June official kicks off the Caribbean hurricane season in Barbados, but you would never know it.  Unless there is word of an impending storm or hurricane making its way to Barbados, it is business as usual.

Even though there is a high probability that Barbados weather in June will bring rain, thunderstorms, or even a hurricane, Barbados has experienced very dry hurricane seasons in the past.

That being said, you should not let this dampen your vacation planning.  The show must go on.

You're in Barbados, now what?

The Crop Over Festival, Barbados’ Carnival, is serious business. Barbadians feverishly hit the gym, the track, Zumba classes or anything else that enhances physical endurance along with the added benefit of losing weight.

This all happens in June before the grand finale, Kadooment Day*, which is typically held during the first week of August.

* This is a day of pulse-pounding music, costumed bands and non-stop partying.

Air Travel in June

The airfares to Barbados in the month of June can be quite low assuming you’ve made an advanced purchase.  If you can book at least three months in advance, your chances of getting a good fare will increase dramatically.

At the start of the New Year and into the month of February, summer travel tends to be on everyone’s mind and before you know it, flights get sold out pretty quickly.
