Nothing beats Barbados weather in January. Who can resist perfect weather with warm days and balmy nights.
Now that’s one less thing a visitor needs to think about.
With very little rainfall during the month of January and hurricane season way out of the picture, planning a mid-winter getaway or a long-awaited vacation suddenly becomes very tempting. The days are sunny and bright with periodic overcast conditions.
January is also a great time to visit Barbados if you are a music lover. The Barbados Music Awards* (yes, we have one too) is an event which draws an audience of thousands of people annually, and features local, regional, and international musicians.
January weather can be brutal in the North, and personally, I can’t think of a better way to avoid the freezing temperatures (if only for a little while) than by experiencing the beautiful Barbados climate, and immersing yourself in the Caribbean music culture.
Many visitors travel to Barbados after the holidays to take advantage of the warm weather, and even though it is high season in January (December 15-April 14), you can still snag a great airfare deal after the holidays.
Airfares typically drop during the New Year, but the high season rates at hotels remain in effect until April 14. This is a good time to buy.
Hands down, Barbados weather in January is a winner with favorable temperatures, good fares, and fun events.
