Barbados weather in April is sunny with low rainfall. April is a month of religious reflection in Barbados.
With the threat of looming storms and hurricanes long gone, Barbadians look forward to the Easter Holiday, a time celebrated with church services and family time.

Take me to the Barbados Climate in:

With beautiful Barbados weather in April, it’s only natural that you would want to be outdoors, and in Barbados there’s a festival for that.
The Oistins Fish Festival* takes place during the Easter weekend, culminating on Monday, the day after Easter and a public holiday.
The festival celebrates the Barbados fishing industry and those who have made an immeasurable contribution to the industry.
The festival brings together people of all ages for a fun filled time with great food, music and live entertainment and games, competitions and lots more.
That being said, here are two good reasons to visit Barbados this time of year:
* This festival should not be confused with the Oistins Fish Fry, which takes place every weekend at the same venue.
Airfares to Barbados in April are quite good, but unless you intend to arrive after April 15, hotel rates will still be high from the tourist season which starts on December 15 and ends on April 14.
On several pages, I have cautioned travelers about delaying booking their flights.
Guess what I did?
I decided at the last minute that I would visit my family for the Easter holiday, and guess what? Flights were all sold out when I checked during the first week of January.
Easter is a popular time for air travel, including Barbados.
Note to self: Practice what you preach.
